As CEO of West Business Development Center (West Center), Mary Anne manages both the Mendocino Women's Business Center (WBC) and the Mendo-Lake Small Business Development Center (SBDC) programs. Over the past 6 years, she has dedicated her efforts to rural economic development in northern California and bevond. Mary Anne advocates regionally and nationally for rural small businesses to have equal opportunities to unlock their innovation and growth potential through technology, financing, and education.
A dynamic entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in design thinking and building partnerships based on honesty and the belief that "together" is better. After 8 years of marketing Cisco's global CSR programs, which resulted in international efforts to improve access to technology for non-profits, she transitioned to managing a non-profit small business development agency.
