Willits is centrally located in Mendocino and home to the County Museum. It is known as the gateway to the redwoods. To the north, you’ll also find Eel River. To the south are wineries and to the west is the rugged Mendocino Coast. Downtown Willits offers boutiques, gift shops, bookstores, coffeehouses, and even an old-fashioned mercantile.
