Business friendly communities are better able to attract and retain competitive and market leading businesses, providing quality jobs, robust tax revenues to fund critical community amenities and infrastructure, and an enhanced quality of life for residents and visitors. The BFC Check-up establishes a baseline of metrics that city and community leaders can reference to better understand their communities’ strengths and weaknesses in this area. Such understanding is useful for crafting effective and relevant policies to support continuous improvement in community vitality.

Sonoma Mendocino Economic Development District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Sonoma Mendocino Economic Development District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
